Hydraulic Thread Rolling Machine Description:
The Hydraulic Thread Rolling Machine is our full two-axis hydraulic range - Z28-40, Z28-80, Z28-150, Z28-200, Z28-260, Z28-315, Z28-500 and Z28-615 - with a single design principle running through all of them: on a thread rolling machine, the hydraulic system decides how long the machine stays accurate.
These machines use a bidirectional hydraulic circuit in which the forward (rolling) stroke runs at high pressure and the return stroke runs at low pressure. Separating the two duties does two things: the rolling stroke gets the full force it needs, and the machine is not subjected to maximum pressure when it is doing no work. The practical result is less heat generated in the oil and less stress on the pump and cylinder - which is why oil temperature stays stable through a full shift, and why the machine holds its thread depth from the first workpiece to the last.

The hydraulic system on these models is the same specification used on our Z28-200, Z28-260 and Z28-280 large machines, so a workshop running a mixed size range is maintaining one hydraulic standard, not several.
Both right-hand and left-hand threads can be processed with one machine head, so a shop producing paired components does not need two setups. Automation level - manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic cycle - is confirmed at order.
